'A tender, funny one-man exploration of men’s Mental Health.'

Like a lot of 15-year-olds, Noah finds life difficult. Very difficult. And he doesn’t know how to cope. This is a story about coping, about getting by. As Noah’s dad says, “You’ve gotta laugh!”, but what if it's not funny… How do you cope when you’re clearly not Alright?

Alright? is an authentic exploration of teenage mental health, retelling the universal experience of exam stress, visits to see gran, school cricket teams and finding ways of coping. The original production was directed by Benjamin Hardy-Phillips, and performed by Dillon Berry, and has now been adapted for 2022 by Cordelia Tarbrooke. This original play is a brutally honest and quick-witted insight into living with poor Mental Health. Brought to life by Tom Price, this show promises to give you a tender, intimate theatrical experience, bringing audiences comfort, understanding and humour.

Black Hound Productions will be touring Alright? before making their Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut with two pieces, Seeds of Memories and Alright?. These pieces tell stories that everyone in Edinburgh and beyond will be able to connect with. Don’t miss out on the chance to see new writing at its best.
